We have a strong established working relationship with various property owners, stakeholders and service delivery entities within this environment.
The CID, RID and SWID were all established in 1998 and were some of the first City Improvement Districts established in Johannesburg. These districts have ensured the retention of major corporate and retail businesses. The services provided by the districts are essential to protecting against decay and degradation, as the City’s service delivery entities have had increasingly limited capacity to address the most basic services.
The TID is situated in the public transport hub of the inner city and was established in 2022 this new district is focused on addressing issues of illegal dumping, informal trader management and service delivery collapse.
